WEEKEND GETAWAYS

These trips are designed for people living in PNG who want to see some more of this amazing country but don’t have much time. All of the trips will get you out and about experiencing Milne Bay whilst allowing you to choose your level of adventure.

DISCOVER THE BAY 3 NIGHT WEEKEND ESCAPE

Min Pax 4…..Max Pax 12

    • Friday Arrive in Alotau, sunset cruise on the Bay, cocktails on the jetty at driftwood Resort – overnight in Alotau
    • Saturday cruise across the bay to Waga Waga, Dive or snorkel on a WWII wreck and have lunch at treetops guesthouse.  Head back across the bay for a relaxing afternoon at the hotel or lodge.
    • Sunday relaxing morning, jump in the van and head up towards East Cape. Check out a waterfall, learn some war history and take in the scenery.

    ISLAND DIVING 3 NIGHT WEEKEND ESCAPE

    Min Pax 4…..Max Pax 12

    • Friday Arrive in Alotau, sunset cruise on the Bay, cocktails on the jetty at driftwood Resort – overnight in Alotau
    • Saturday Transfer to our island resort. Dive, snorkel, walk, fish – overnight at camp for traditional Milne Bay clay pot feast.
    • Sunday relaxing morning, dive, snorkel, kayak before cruising back to mainland and into town.

    RAIN FOREST 3 NIGHT GETAWAY

      • Friday Arrive in Alotau, sunset cruise on the Bay, cocktails on the jetty at driftwood Resort – overnight in Alotau
      • Saturday cruise across the bay to Waga Waga, Dive or snorkel on a WWII wreck and have lunch at treetops guesthouse.  Spend the night amongst the trees at the comfortable guesthouse.
      • Sunday relaxing morning, walk to the waterfall, explore the rainforest, or venture up the Dawa Dawa river in a dug-out canoe. Cruise back to town in the afternoon.
